On Wednesday 15th December 2021 from 6.00pm – 7.30pm the Landworkers’ Alliance is running a webinar on the UK flower industry and the pioneering growers who are shaping a new narrative.
We are delighted that Sarah and Rory from ‘We Grow Colour’ and Camila from ‘Wolves Lane Flower Company‘ will be our speakers for this evening.
In this webinar we will take a deep dive into the practices of these two UK based flower growers, understanding the context of the global flower industry and why change is so desperately needed. We will be guided through the personal journey of our growers and hear about their working practices for growing seasonally and sustainably in the UK climate and UK market.
You will hear practical advice on beginning and building a flower growing enterprise, perhaps incorporating flowers into an existing market garden or what to consider before undertaking the step towards growing your own independent cut flower garden.
